2012/2013 FINANCIAL, VOLUNTEER and FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT
The Issaquah Swim Team operates on a defined annual budget that is approved by the general membership. Expenditures and income are budgeted once a year based upon an estimated number of swimmers and the expenses necessary to support that number of swimmers. Member fees include but are not limited to the following:
Annual IST Administration Fee, Annual USA Swimming registration fee, Training fees, Meet Fees, and Fundraising requirement.
Annual training fees are paid in nine installments from September through May but cover training expenses for the full swim season.

IST offers a multi-swimmer fee discount to families with more than one athlete. This discount applies to all competitive groups and cannot be applied to Steelheads. Families with multiple swimmers will pay 100% of the cost for the swimmer at the highest fee set, 90% of the cost of the swimmer in the next highest fee set and 80% of the cost of the swimmers in the next highest fee set. In addition IST has a family maximum training fee amount of $4750.
VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT
The Issaquah Swim Team is dependent on the support of all its membership to assist the team in hosting meets and contributing to many other areas of the team. Each new family to the team is required to provide the team with 15 hours of volunteer service annually while veteran families are required to provide the team with 25-30 hours of volunteer service annually depending on training group. Any shortcomings in the volunteer time provided by any family will result in financial penalties. FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT
Each member of the Issaquah Swim Team (except Senior Prep and Steelhead swimmers) must contribute a minimum of $125 for the annual Swim-a-Thon (check the web for the date). For multi-swimmer families, the required contribution is $125 for the first athlete plus $50 for each additional athlete.
