11/24/2008: It is a pleasure to announce that Ken Spencer has been selected as the Head Coach for the 2009 PNS All Star team. Read the entire announcement.  
11/24/2008: 2008 PNS Championship Zone team members will  be acknowledged at the PNS 14 & Under SC Championships or at the Washington Senior SC Championships.    Read the full announcement for the details on the logistics along with when and where you as a Zone team member need to be  as a part of this recognition opportunity.  The full announcement can be found here. 11/22/2008: StingRay Swim Club and Bellevue Club Swim Team are pleased to announce that 2008 Olympic Champion and world record holder Ryan Lochte will be making a special guest appearance at the 2008 PNS 14 & Under Championships.  On Saturday December 13th, Mr. Lochte will be attending the finals session to inspire great performances, appear in photographs, talk to swimmers, and honor our finalists by making awards presentations.  This weekend will be one of the last chances to make qualifying times, so swim fast, and earn your way onto the deck at PNS Champs with Ryan Lochte.  
11/22/2008: USA Swimming named Bob Bowman (Baltimore, Md.) and Sean Hutchison (Seattle, Wash.) as head coaches for the 2009 World Championships swim team. In addition, USA Swimming also announced the coaching staffs for the 2009 World University and Junior Pan Pacific Championships.Hutchison will make his first women’s head coach appearance at the 2009 World Championships. Most recently, he served as assistant woman’s coach for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swim Team, and was also an assistant coach at the 2007 World Championships. Hutchison is the head coach for King Aquatics based in Seattle, Wash. Read the entire article  
11/05/2008: At the USA Swimming convention in Atlanta in September 2008, it was voted on by the House of Delegates to restrict the use of high tech suits for age group swimmers that are 12 years old and younger.The restriction will become effective on May 15, 2009. Read entire posting.  
11/04/2008: The application for being the Head Coach for the 2009 PNS All Star team and Assistant Coaches are now posted on the Age Group page. The meet will be held on Saturday January 10, 2009 and Sunday January 11, 2009 in Federal Way, Washington at KCAC.  
 

10/16/2008: USA Swimming has announced the selection of its Scholastic All-America Team for 2007-08  Nine-hundred and seventy-four athletes made the team this year, including 600 women and 374 men.  Sixty-eight percent of the successful applicants had a 4.0 GPA. Fifteen percent of the athletes made the list for the third time in their careers. 12 men and 10 women from PNS were honored. Congratulations to the following: BRANT B. 2008 PNS All Star Team Places 3rd in PacCoast All Star Meet in Nevada. Sparked by a strong performance by the 11-12 girls, PNS finished third at the 2008 Pac Coast All-Star Meet in Carson City, Nevada, January 12-13. Improving on 5th place finishes in 2006 and 4th place in 2007, the athletes on the trip represented PNS proudly.  Double event winner Grace Wold (50 and 100 back) and Maria Volodkevich (50 breast) were the only members of the PNS contingent to capture first place finishes. The 11-12 girls relays also finished 3rd in the 200/400 Medley Relays and the 400 free relay. ...
