Ty is a 1996 graduate of Issaquah High School. Since 1991 he has participated in Karate --achieving the prestigious 2nd Degree Black Belt. Ty's involvement with Karate has provided him the opportunity to teach both children and adults the martial art discipline. He has combined his teaching talent with his competitive swimming experience to become an accomplished and respected member of the IST coaching staff.  This is Ty's 7th year coaching with IST.
