Races are designated as 1 of 3 "courses" by the length of the pool.

Short Course Yards (SCY)= 25 yard pool (most local pools)

Short Course Meters (SCM)=25 Meter pool

Long Course (LC) =50 Meter Pool (Olympic Sized)
Local pools: King County Aquatic Center, Titlow, Colman

To compare times from the different courses, they must be converted based on the type of pool, number of turns and stroke.
