The Issaquah Swim Team Association is nationally recognized as part of USA Swimming, Inc. IST is affiliated with the Pacific Northwest Swimming Association (PNSA), which includes clubs in Western Washington, and the Greater Seattle Swimming Association (GSSA), which includes Seattle area clubs.

  • USA Swimming introduces ultimate coach resource
    USA Swimming’s ultimate coaching education resource, “Foundations of Coaching,” is now available on DVD for the first time. The two-DVD set provides over four hours of education for coaches of all levels.
  • Warkentin qualifies for Olympics
    Mark Warkentin (Santa Barbara, Calif.) qualified for his first Olympics at the age of 28 today at the 5th FINA Open Water World Championships in the 10K open water race. The National Champion earned his spot at the Olympics after finishing 7th in a time of 1:53:37.1.
  • Open Water World Championships kick off
    The 5th FINA Open Water World Championships kicked off today with the 10K open water race in Seville, Spain. The event served as a qualifier for the 2008 Olympic Games, with the top 10 finishers automatically qualifying to compete at the Olympics. This year will mark the first year the 10K race is swum at the Olympics.
  • Mutual of Omaha Swimvitational tickets now on sale
    Tickets are now on sale for the Mutual of Omaha Swimvitational, the final meet of the 2007-08 Toyota Grand Prix Series. The meet is scheduled for June 5-8 at the Qwest Center Omaha.
  • Open Water World Championships Results
    USA Swimming will be covering the FINA Open Water World Championships live May 3-8 from Seville, Spain. Results can also be found at sevillaaguasabiertas.org.
