Challenge Meet One of a round robin of team competitions regularly scheduled for all participating PNS swim teams. Open to all ability levels.

Senior Open to all swimmers (usually older). A time standard may be used.

Dual Meet Meet between two teams

Intrasquad Meet Competition among team members.

Skill Meet Competition focused on technique.

Special Meet Non-championship meets offered by PNSA teams.

Champs Open to all PNS swimmers who meet the times standards.

Age Group Sectionals Open to all USA Swimming registered Age Group swimmers within a Region who meet the time standards.

Sectionals Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers within a Section who meet the time standards.

Zones Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers within a Zone who meet the time standards.

U.S. Open Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers who meet the time standards

USA National Championships Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers who meet the time standards.

Olympic Trials Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers who meet the time standards.

A “Blue Book” is available for approximately $5.00 starting in October with the time standards for the various categories. Information about PNSA rules plus Western Washington pool locations and directions are in the “Blue Book”. IST also will provide age appropriate time standards once the “Blue Book” is published.
